Change begins with a decision—a moment where we acknowledge that things can’t stay the same and that we have the power to reshape them. “A Place for Change” is a reflection on the importance of perspective, dialogue, and action. It speaks to the courage of voicing ideas, the wisdom of listening to others, and the collective effort required to create meaningful transformation.
I wrote this poem as an invitation for change,
A Place For Change
A place where you come
If you want things to change
The time is right now
Things can’t be the same
With the perspective you have
And ideas in your head
The voice of great reason
It’s time to be said
And listen to others
Who think like you do
Or think like you don’t
Because that is good too
Only then will you know
And be able to change
The things that aren’t working
The things causing pain
So together you must
Both listen and share
To find the right answers,
For the people you care
For this is the time
So important to find
A place where you come
If you want things to change

In a world that often feels divided, this poem serves as a gentle reminder that true change happens when we come together—not just with like-minded individuals, but with those who challenge our thinking and push us to see things differently. It invites us to step forward, to engage in conversations that matter, and to create the change we wish to see.
Let this be your call to action—a reminder that the right time is now.
