Creators Festival: A Celebration of Creativity, Connection & Community

In 2018, we launched the first-ever Creators Festival at the beautiful 42 Acres in London—a boutique one-day gathering designed to extend the magic of Creators Club into a fully immersive experience. It was a space for creative minds, entrepreneurs, and innovators to come together, share ideas, collaborate, and celebrate self-expression in an inspiring setting.

What Made Creators Festival so special?

Creators Club has always been about fostering meaningful connections and supporting creative journeys, and this festival was an extension of that ethos. We carefully crafted the day to include:

✨ Guest Speakers – Inspirational talks from creative entrepreneurs
🍽 Communal Dining – A hands-on food experience that encouraged collaboration
🎤 Open Mic Creative Expression – A space for raw, authentic creativity
🎨 Creators Exhibit – A showcase of community projects and creative works
🎶 Live DJ & Music – An atmosphere filled with rhythm, joy, and celebration

The day was about experiencing creativity in all its forms, with talks, performances, interactive workshops, and hands-on collaboration all woven into the fabric of the event.

Inspiring Voices: Our Guest Speakers

We had the honor of hosting some truly inspiring speakers, each bringing their own unique perspectives on creativity, business, and wellbeing:

🎤 Joanna Montgomery ~ A technology entrepreneur passionate about strengthening human connection through innovation. Peeling back the curtain, Jo told us how she did it, from the seed of an idea, to selling a product in 100 countries!

🎤 Tania Diggory ~ Founder of Calmer, who shared her powerful journey through entrepreneurial leadership and provided valuable insights on how creative freelancers can effectively manage their wellbeing.

🎤 Owen Bailey ~ Led an experiential workshop designed to help attendees connect with their inner child and embrace playfulness, while reflecting on self-judgment and the ways we limit our self-expression.

Each talk and session was designed to spark new ideas, deep conversations, and meaningful reflections—a space where people felt both challenged and inspired.

A Magical Open Mic Moment

One of the standout moments of the festival was an incredible spoken word poetry performance during our Open Mic session. In true serendipitous fashion, as Nina began reading her poem, a pianist spontaneously jumped on the keyboard to provide live musical backing.

It was a breathtakingly organic and soul-stirring moment, capturing the spirit of Creators Festival—unplanned, raw, and deeply moving.

The Creators Exhibit: Showcasing Passion Projects

The Creators Exhibit was a space for attendees to showcase their creative projects, work-in-progress ideas, or business samples.

But this wasn’t about selling. Instead, it was about connection—sparking conversations, finding collaborators, and illuminating the incredible work being created within the Creators Club community.

Attendees could explore passion projects, meet like-minded people, and be inspired by the sheer diversity of creativity on display.

A Unique Communal Dining Experience

Food is one of the most powerful ways to bring people together, so we designed an interactive dining experience where everyone played a role in creating something special.

Our 60 attendees were divided into 3 project teams:

🍽 Team 1: Decorated the space and set the table
🥗 Team 2: Made side salads to accompany the meal
🍹 Team 3: Created non-alcoholic cocktails to elevate the dining experience

The idea was simple: when people create together, they connect in a more natural, meaningful way. It turned networking into something organic and fun, rather than forced or transactional.

By mucking in together, everyone felt a sense of pride in collectively crafting a beautiful experience—something none of us could have done alone.

Music, Vibes & Celebration

A festival wouldn’t be complete without music, and DJ Chris Giesler kept the energy alive throughout the day. With uplifting beats, spontaneous dancing, and an atmosphere buzzing with joy, the music set the perfect backdrop for creativity to flourish.

A Huge Success & So Much Fun!

For our first-ever Creators Festival, the response was overwhelmingly positive. The joy, energy, and deep connections made the day unforgettable. It reinforced everything we love about Creators Club—bringing people together in creative, playful, and meaningful ways. Thank you to the team and volunteers who helped make it happen! 😊
